Produced by Hoshino Seichaen, a tea master with over 70 years of expertise, this tin offers an exceptional ceremonial grade matcha made from carefully shaded, hand picked tencha leaves.

Mokuren opens with a creamy umami richness, followed by a gentle sweetness and a lingering, mellow finish. Its vivid emerald hue and finely milled texture reflect the precise craftsmanship and quality of the leaves used.

Mokuren is matcha for food processing, but it is manufactured with 100% stone mill, and the taste is not inferior to that for tea ceremony matcha, and it is a quality that can be drunk for tea ceremony.

This bag is privately packed by Hoshino Seichaen that supplier to restaurants and cafe for the past 10 years. Unlike the printed black packaging , it is not publicly sold.
