Hoshino Seichaen, founded in 1946 and based in Yame, Fukuoka, is a renowned Japanese tea specialist known for high grade, award winning matcha. They prioritise traditional cultivation methods, including straw shading and hand picking, producing vibrant green tea known for a rich, nutty, and creamy profile with low astringency.

Hoshino Seichaen — Yame Matcha Stick (1.5g)

Hoshino Seicha’s Yame matcha stands apart with its roasted aroma, vivid green hue, and creamy, nutty sweet flavour. This distinctive blend captures the comforting essence of Yame, offering a toasty depth that contrasts beautifully with the freshness of Uji matcha.

Tasting Notes

Smooth and mid bodied, with gentle umami and no trace of bitterness. Instead, it reveals a roasted, nutty sweetness that lingers on the palate. Especially delightful with oat milk, which enhances its natural creaminess. For a fuller flavour, whisk 2 sticks (3g).

How to Enjoy

Best enjoyed in lattes, where the roasted peanut character truly shines. Complements plant based milks, particularly oat milk, for a velvety, nut-forward finish.
