Marukyu Koyamaen is one of Japan’s most prestigious tea manufacturers, founded in 1704 in Uji, Kyoto, the heart of Japanese tea culture. Family-owned for over 300 years, the company is known for preserving traditional tea cultivation and processing methods.Marukyu Koyamaen supplies top tea schools, temples, and shrines, and has earned numerous awards, including multiple first-place wins at Japan’s National Tea Competition. Their matcha is widely regarded as some of the finest in the country for both ceremony and everyday enjoyment.

A concentrated matcha paste designed for a wide range of applications including soft serve ice cream, desserts, baking, confectionery, and food production. Each 60g is intended for approximately 1 litre of mixture.

Made with Uji matcha, this paste contains no chlorella, artificial colourings, or flavourings, allowing the authentic flavour and colour of matcha to shine through.

How to Prepare

How to Use
Ice Cream
Add one 60g pouch of matcha paste to approximately 1 litre of soft serve ice cream mix.
Mix thoroughly until evenly combined.
Process according to your soft serve machine's instructions.
Desserts & Baking
Add the desired amount of matcha paste directly to creams, fillings, batters, or dessert mixtures.
Mix until smooth and evenly distributed.
Adjust quantity to achieve the desired matcha flavour and colour intensity.
Tip: This paste contains vegetable oils and is designed primarily for commercial dessert applications, making it easy to incorporate into ice cream, pastries, cakes, and other matcha-flavoured treats.
