Tea Schools Favored Matcha

Vivid | Balanced | Ceremonial-Grade

Saiun is a beautifully balanced ceremonial-grade matcha favored by the Omotesenke School of Tea. The name evokes fleeting beauty and quiet radiance, qualities that are deeply aligned with the school's appreciation for grace, subtlety, and seasonal sensitivity.

Harvested from the revered tea fields of Uji, Kyoto, Saiun is crafted from tender first-harvest leaves, grown under shade to concentrate sweetness and then stone-ground with precision. The resulting matcha is smooth and mellow.

How to Prepare

Sift 1–2 tsp of matcha into a bowl. Add 60–80 ml of hot water (80°C). Whisk in a zigzag motion until frothy. Enjoy it straight or add milk for a creamy matcha latte.
