Marukyu Koyamaen is one of Japan’s most prestigious tea manufacturers, founded in 1704 in Uji, Kyoto, the heart of Japanese tea culture. Family-owned for over 300 years, the company is known for preserving traditional tea cultivation and processing methods. Marukyu Koyamaen supplies top tea schools, temples, and shrines, and has earned numerous awards, including multiple first-place wins at Japan’s National Tea Competition.
