Characterised by a refreshing grassy aroma with a well-balanced flavor that’s between mild bitterness and umami, this matcha goes great with everyday drinking whilst still providing a wonderful favour and aroma. It’s also one of the best known of all Marukyu Koyamaen’s Matcha products.

How to Prepare

Sift 1–2 tsp of matcha into a bowl. Add 60–80 ml of hot water (80°C). Whisk in a zigzag motion until frothy. Enjoy it straight or add milk for a creamy matcha latte.
