Tsuji Rihei Honten  is a historic Japanese Uji tea and matcha brand founded in 1860 in Uji, Kyoto, one of Japan’s most prestigious tea-growing regions. The company is known for premium Uji matcha, traditional stone milling techniques, and a deep heritage tied to the revival and modernization of Japanese tea culture. 

Organic Matcha Ippuku (30g) is a light, refreshing organic Uji matcha crafted for everyday enjoyment. On the Tsujirihei Honten flavor chart, it sits in the refreshing and clean zone, with lower richness and very gentle bitterness, making it approachable, smooth, and easy to drink daily.

“Ippuku” (一服) means “a relaxing cup” or “tea break” in Japanese, reflecting its casual and comforting style.

How to Prepare

Sift 1–2 tsp of matcha into a bowl. Add 60–80 ml of hot water (80°C). Whisk in a zigzag motion until frothy. Enjoy it straight or add milk for a creamy matcha latte.
