Yamamasa Koyamaen is a traditional and historic tea company based in Uji, Japan, founded in 1861. They are well regarded for maintaining very high standards for their raw material, processing, and stone milling, and have won first prize 22 times at Japan's National Tea Competition.

Miyuki no Shiro (30g) is a matcha favoured by the head of the Edo Senke Rengean tea school, Kawakami Kansetsu. A rich aroma spreads in your mouth, allowing you to enjoy the unique taste of matcha.

Miyuki no Shiro matcha boasts a smooth, well balanced flavour with a delicate sweet and savory finish. It is characterised by its strong umami and rich, deep flavor.

How to Prepare

Sift 1–2 tsp of matcha into a bowl. Add 60–80 ml of hot water (80°C). Whisk in a zigzag motion until frothy. Enjoy it straight or add milk for a creamy matcha latte.

Tasting Notes

A velvety, full bodied matcha.
